Episode 1
Yugi and his friends are getting hooked on the hottest new game, Duel Monsters.
When a classmate, Kaiba, finds out that Yugi's grandpa owns a game shop, he comes looking for valuable cards. But Grandpa refuses to sell him the coveted and rare Blue Eyes White Dragon card, so Kaiba tries to take it using his own
dubious methods.
It's a duel between Yugi and Kaiba, only the monsters are all real, thanks to Kaiba's Virtual Simulator! Can Yugi teach him to respect the heart of the cards?
You bet! He kicks Kaiba's butt using Exodia!
Epidode 2
Yugi and friends take a break from honing their card playing skills to watch Weevil and Rex Raptor compete in the Duel Monsters Regional Championship.
When Yugi opens a package from Duel Monsters creator, Maximillion Pegasus, Yugi is forced to face him in the mysterious Shadow Realm, where all the
monsters and magic are real. Yugi loses, and Pegasus claims Grandpa's soul as his prize!
Yugi must travel to the Duelist Kingdom and win Pegasus' tournament if he is ever to see his grandpa again!
Episode 3
Yugi gives up one of his own star chips so that Joey can board the boat bound for Duelist Kingdom and duel to save his sisters eyesight, while Tea and Tristan stowaway to join their friends.
But when word spreads
that Yugi was the one who defeated World Champion Kaiba, Weevil tries to cripple Yugi's deck by tossing his best cards (the exodia cards) overboard just as they reach the island! Episode 4
Once Yugi and his friends reach Duelist Kingdom, Pegasus reveals that there are many strange secrets on the island which will make his ultimate tournament unlike any they've ever had. As soon as the Duels begin Yugi challenges Weevil. But Weevil runs into the forest. Revealing a trap!!! Weevil gains life points because he led them to the forest where his monsters have an advantage!!! But when Weevil begins to use these mysterious new rules against Yugi in a duel, Yugi must not only figure the rules out, but master them if hes to survive! Ofcourse he does and he ends up knocking Weevil off the island!!!
Episode 5
As Joey searches for a dueling opponent he stands a chance of beating, he finds himself courageously accepting a challenge from veteran duelist, Mai. But when Mai begins to demonstrate an unnerving psychic-like ability, Joey becomes totally flustered, leaving him no choice but to figure out her secret strategy before falling victim to it! When Joey figures out that she doesn't have ESP and simply put different perfumes on different cards, he uses Baby Dragon and Uses the Time Wizard to make a millenium pass turning the Baby Dragon into the 1000 Dragon!!! Now that Mai's harpie's ladys' are 1000 years old, Joey finishes of Mai!!! Episode 6
The fisherman duelist Mako, the master of the Sea Deck, baits Yugi into a duel on his own sea playing field for a home-field advantage.
Can Yugi adapt to these new settings to turn the tide of the battle? First he plays the moon magic card, but it makes the tide so high that Yugi has no land to play on. Mako's monsters swim in closer, but when Yugi destroys the moon, the tide goes to normal leaving the fish out of the sea!!!
Episode 7
If Yugi is eliminated from the tournament, Kaiba Corporations crooked Board of Directors will transfer control of the company from Kaiba to Pegasus! Kaibas younger brother Mokuba challenges Yugi to a duel not only to protect his brothers company, but to regain their honor! And to make things worse, Yu-Gi-Oh just found out that Mokuba escaped from Pegasus' jail. Mokuba has become a thief!!!
But when Yu-Gi-Oh plays his starchips, Mokuba runs off with them. Yugi talks Mokuba into being on his side and they go to return the starchips to their rightful owner. But Pegasus' slugs through the starchips overboard INCLUDING YU-GI-OH'S THREE STARCHIPS!!! With two starchips left Yu-Gi-Oh runs into Kaiba!!! AND HE WANTS TO DUEL!!! He also claims to be dead. Will Yugi lose to this "dead" Kaiba? Episode 8
Yugi must duel a magical doppelganger of Kaiba, created from the greed and powerlust Yugi wiped from Kaibas soul. But with his best cards resting at the bottom of the ocean, Yugi must discover a new strategy if hes to survive fake Kaibas powerful Blue Eyes White Dragon! Even so, Kaiba has all 3 Blue Eyes White Dragons!!! And to help Yugi win, the real Kaiba is hacking into the Duelist Kindom computers to destroy Kaiba's blue eyes White Dragons. |
