The Dragonballs are 7 magical ruby like sphere that the Namekians created. They created these dragonballs to grant the gatherer 1 wish on Earth, but was changed to 2. On Namek though they get 3 wishes. If the gaurdian of Earth or the Eldest Namek is to die then the Dragonballs are turned to stone.
